Leaking Gas Cylinder, One House In Pulomas Burns

JAKARTA - One house on Jalan Pulo Mas Barat Number 93, Kayu Putih Village, Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta, caught fire, Tuesday, April 23, at around 15.36 WIB. Kasie Ops East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service Sub-dept. (Gulkarmat), Gatot Sulaeman said that the fire was caused by a gas cylinder leak in the kitchen area of the house.

The East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. also deployed 11 fire engines with 55 personnel to extinguish the fire that burned a building covering an area of 240 square meters. There were no casualties in the incident, but the loss was estimated at Rp900 million. "The number that was saved was three people. The blackout was completed at 17.02 WIB," he said.
