Dave Grohl Working On New Music Projects With Anthrax Personnel

JAKARTA - The project of well-known musicians often produces something interesting. Likewise with Dave Grohl who has just released a recording with two Anthrax personnel.

The frontman Foo Fighters with Charlie Benante and Scott Ian formed a trio called GBI (Grohr, Benante and Ian). From the impromptu meeting they recorded an old Bad Brains song called The Regulator.

GBI has released the song and music video for the song on Charlie Benante's YouTube channel. In the video, viewers can listen to the studio recording process of the three rock musicians.

On this track Dave becomes a drummer and vocalist, in a more aggressive style. While the Anthrax-style music arrangement is fast and full of distortion. For information, this song was recorded live by the three musicians.

"We recorded the 'Regulator' live in two takes, as it should be. It's great to be able to play with Dave on the drums and hear his voice with my guitar! We are all big fans of BAD BRAINS and have a WWBBD question? (What would BAD BRAINS do?) many times. " said Scott Ian launching a metalinjection.

Behind this excitement, Dave et al turned out to have a social mission. The benefits of this song are they dedicate to the vocalist of Bad Brain, Paul Hudson.

Paul is known to have a rare disease that attacks the head. As a form of solidarity, Dave et al took supportive steps.
