Want To Take A Bath In The Citarum River, Fishermen From Indramayu Slipped And Disappeared
BEKASI - A fisherman named Tonih (22) from Indramayu was reported missing and drowned in Citarum River, Muara Flag Village, Pantai Bahagia Village, Muara Gembong District, Bekasi Regency, West Java.
The victim drowned while going to take a bath after returning to sea. However, the victim slipped and fell into the Citarum River.
The victim was also reported to the SAR team for a search. Bekasi SAR Alert Unit rescue personnel together with joint SAR elements then conducted a search for the victim's body that had not been found.
Bekasi SAR Alert Unit Coordinator, Rizky Dwianto, said that his party was searching for victims by deploying 3 teams. The first team conducted a search by sweeping along the Citarum River using rubber boats up to a radius of 2 KM from the scene.

The second team conducted a search by land, combing the banks of the Citarum River up to a radius of 2 KM from the scene. The third team conducted a dive in an area suspected of having a victim.
"We will maximize the search by deploying the existing joint SAR elements with the hope that we will find the victims soon," he said when confirmed, Sunday, April 21.
The search for victims involved dozens of joint SAR personnel consisting of the Bekasi SAR Alert Unit, Bekasi Regency BPBD, Muara Gembong Police, Muara Gembong Lantamal III and other SAR communities.
