Fake Land Certificates, Acting Mayor Tanjungpinang Hasan Named A Suspect
TANJUNGPINANG - Bintan Resort Police have named the Acting Mayor of Tanjungpinang Hasan as a suspect in the alleged case of falsification of documents or land certificates in Sei Lekop Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands."As of today, three suspects in the alleged forgery of land certificates have been named, namely the initials H (Perjabat Mayor of Tanjungpinang), then R and B," said Bintan Police Chief AKBP Riky Iswoyo in Bintang, as reported by Antara, Friday, April 19.The determination of the three suspects is based on the results of the conclusion of the case title at the Riau Islands Regional Police (Polda) level.Furthermore, the Bintan Police coordinated with the prosecutor's office regarding further handling of the alleged forgery of land certificates after the determination of the three suspects.In addition, the Bintan Police will also communicate with the Ministry of Home Affairs because one of the suspects involved in the alleged forgery of the land certificate is a state official (the acting mayor)."The police investigation team will also recall the three suspects who at the previous summons were still witnesses," added the Police Chief.Previously, Bintan Police investigators had investigated cases of alleged forgery of land documents and overlapping land belonging to PT Expipindo at kilometer 23 of Sei Lekop Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency.In this case, investigators have examined 23 witnesses, including the Acting Mayor of Tanjungpinang who is also the Head of the Riau Hasan Islands Province Communication and Information Office.
At the time of this case, Hasan was still the Head of East Bintan Sub-district for the period 2014 to 2016. Meanwhile, suspect R was a former village head of Sei Lekop, and another suspect with the initials B acted as a land measurementr.
