Ivar Jenner's Apology Before The U-23 Indonesian National Team Against Australia U-23

JAKARTA - Ivar Jenner apologized ahead of the second match of the U-23 Indonesian national team against Australia U-23 in Group A of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. This was done for his reaction to the red card given to him.

"First of all I would apologize for my reaction to the catacomb after my red card. (I'm) very frustrated," wrote Ivar Jenner quoted from an upload on Instagram Story.

The red card received by Ivar Jenner made him absent from defending the U-23 vs Australia U-23 Indonesian national team. This match was held at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Doha, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, WIB night.

In the same upload, Ivar Jenner also did not forget to express his gratitude to the Indonesian supporters who had given their support after receiving a red card against Qatar U-23.

Furthermore, Ivar Jenner's upload confirmed that the AFC had rejected PSSI's request for its red card to be removed due to referee Nasrullo Kabirov's decision which was considered controversial.

"PSSI has done everything to remove my red card, but unfortunately it is still suspended for today's match (against Australia U-23). Hopefully (the U-23 Indonesian National Team) is lucky today," he said.
