Bogor Outer Ring Road Access Development From OCBD Enters Final Stage

JAKARTA - The construction of the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) toll access from the One Central Business District (OCBD) area of Bogor City, West Java, has entered its final stage.

Construction of construction carried out is an increase in the capacity of the Bogor Highway intersection - Sholeh Iskandar Street - BORN Toll Road on Kedung Halang On Ramp, known as the Zero Kilometer From Toll Road.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto attended the final stage of completing the BORR toll road direct access from the OCBD southern gate, Thursday 18 April. Bima said that he actually hoped that the toll road access that had been carried out since 2023 could be completed more quickly.

"Today's ceremony is actually a delayed dream. We hope that it will actually be faster, even a few years ago," Bima said in his speech, quoted from Antara.

Nevertheless, Bima said, the development of the area managed by PT Olympic Bangun Persada (OBP) was the dream of the City of Bogor to create a creative science city.

"This is all a dream and this is also a manifestation or symbol of the future of Bogor City as a science creative city. In the next twenty years, the projected city of Bogot is a science creative city," he said.

In the future, he hopes, Bogor City can become a city that develops innovations for creation based on culture, innovation, and technology with sustainable and environmentally friendly development.

"And that's the OCBD here. I'm sure that the OCBD in the future will not only become an economic center, not only advancing the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Bogor City, but also being a futuristic and future identity of Bogor City," he explained.

Bima also expressed his gratitude for the collaboration carried out by OBP and related officials within the Bogor City Government (Pemkot). Because, according to him, the completion of this project cannot run alone.

"I thank the PUPR ranks who are cooperative and collaborative. This is an ideal form of cooperation and this is a manifestation of Bogor's future. God willing, it will be a blessing for the city of Bogor," he said.

Vice CEO of PT OBP Imelda Fransisca explained that the reconstruction process has reached around 80 percent. It is estimated that this toll access can be used by the public in July 2024.

"It's just a finish at the end. So in May it's finished, usually the SLF (function-worthy certificate) is 1 to 2 months. It can operate from July," said Imelda.
