Durhaka's Son Stabs Mother Kandung In Cengkareng Threatened With 5 Years In Prison
JAKARTA - The man with the initials A (42) who injured his biological mother with the initials L (61) in Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/4) faces up to five years in prison.
The man has been named a suspect based on evidence as stipulated in Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).
"(The perpetrator) has been named a suspect," said Cengkareng Police Chief, Police Commissioner Hasoloan Situmorang, Wednesday, April 17.
Hasoloan explained that his party suspected Article 44 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence (KDRT) against the perpetrators with a penalty of five years in prison.
"Article 44 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. (The threat of punishment) is five years in prison," he said.
Until now, the man who injured his biological mother in the hands, fingers (broken), head and back using the knife has been detained at the Cengkareng Police Headquarters, West Jakarta.
"He has been detained," said Hasoloan.

His party is still waiting for a schedule related to the examination of the perpetrator's mental condition.
"Meanwhile, the doctor's examination or expert is still waiting for the schedule," said Hasoloan.
The victim with the initials L (61), the mother of the perpetrator, is still being treated intensively at the Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta due to the abuse.
"Still being treated," said Hasoloan.
The police have examined five witnesses in the stabbing case of a woman with the initials L (61) by her biological child with the initials A (42) in the Kapuk area, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/4) at around 12.00 WIB.
The five witnesses were people who were at the scene of the crime (TKP) when the stabbing occurred. "Witness at the TKP," said Hasoloan.
