VW ID.7 Tourers Start Selling In England, Price Banderol Starts From IDR 1 Billion
JAKARTA - In February, Volkswagen (VW) officially introduced the ID.7 Tourer as well as added to the company's portfolio in presenting electrified vehicles. This model is a station wagon version of the ID.7 series.
By offering space with a long range, the car will be marketed for European territory. Recently, the company from Germany announced the price of the model for British consumers.
Autocar reported on Wednesday, April 17, this environmentally friendly wagon was sold in King Charles' country starting from 52,240 pounds (around Rp1.06 billion). VW expects the model to also strengthen the company's position in the executive car market.
Compared to the fastback version of the sedan, the ID.7 Tourer presents a long roof line with an elegant transition to the baggage cap which is the hallmark of the station wagon car type.
Because the rear is expanded and elongated, this car offers a trunk capacity of up to 605 liters, including a back seat dock in a cargo position. However, if the seats are folded, the capacity will increase to 1,714 liters.
The VW ID.7 Tourer has a premium impression with advanced technology from the latest Wellness In-Car application, which makes it easier to tune personalization such as ventilation operated automatically by small control motors and ergoActive seats serving as new pressure point massages and automatic air conditioning.

Another innovation is panoramic sunscreen with smart glass and glass layers can be converted electronically into blurry or clear. Talking about performance, VW ID.7 Tourers are equipped with APP550 electric motors that can produce 280 dk of power and 545 Nm of torque is channeled to the rear wheels, so they can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 7 seconds.
This car can reach up to 685 km by WLTP cycle. The largest size battery is designed for a maximum charging capacity of up to 200 kW for DC fast chargers and is capable of refilling 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, the GTX's VW ID.7 Tourer or high-performance type from this series will arrive at the market starting this summer.
