Fanvue Holds World's First AI Beauty Contest With A Total Prize Of 20,000

JAKARTA - For the first time in history, the world will witness a beauty pageant involving digital participants produced by artificial intelligence (AI). The AI beauty contest, named Fanvue Miss AI, will feature competing AI participants to get a share of a total prize of 20,000 US dollars (Rp326.7 million).

These participants will be judged by a panel of judges consisting of two AI influencers, along with a human jury. They will be judged based on beauty, influence on social media, and the use of AI tools by their creators.

Registration for this contest is open to anyone who can submit images of women generated by AI and answer a series of questions. The question includes a variety of topics, from expectations to make the world a better place to technical details about the use of AI.

Fanvue, as the event organizer, expects thousands of registrants for this contest. The participants will be selected to the top 10 before the three finalists are announced at an online award event in May.

The participants will be assessed in three main categories: beauty, technology, and influence on social media. The panel of judges consists of four experts in beauty, marketing, and modeling.

What's interesting about this contest is the existence of an AI jury who will also assess the participants. This reflects the rapid development in the AI industry and the creator's economy. In addition, the use of technology will be one of the important assessment criteria.

Contestants will be judged based on the skills and implementation of AI tools used, as well as their influence on social media. Fanvue notes that there are additional points for details such as eyes and hands, which are often a challenge for AI image generators.

In addition to cash prizes, the contest winner will get a $3.000 (IDR 49 million) creative mentorship program. The contest shows great potential in the creation economy, where AI models can generate significant revenue through advertising collaboration and sales of "premium" content to their fans.

With technological developments increasingly advanced, the world can see the increasing number of innovations and events involving artificial intelligence. The AI beauty contest may only be the beginning of this trend.

One of the founders of Fanvue is Will Monanage, who expressed his hope that the event would become "Oscar from the economy of the creator of AI."
