Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Records Revenue And Profit In 2023 Compact Increase
JAKARTA - PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk (SBMA) succeeded in making a brilliant performance throughout 2023. This industrial gas issuer was able to collect revenues of up to IDR 113.36 billion, an increase of 9.38 percent compared to the 2022 period which was only IDR 103.64 billion.
Referring to SBMA's financial report data, that the largest contribution of revenue was still contributed by Acetylene's sales which reached Rp33.66 billion or grew 33.66 percent from the previous Rp29.28 billion, argon sales also rose 8.21 percent to Rp22.59 billion from Rp20.87 billion, then oxygen sales rose 10.58 percent to Rp22.62 billion from Rp20.46 billion.
SBMA's nitrogen sales also rose 25.44 percent to Rp6.36 billion from Rp5.07 billion, sales of carbon dioxide Rp7.79 billion, an increase of 59.27 percent from Rp4.89 billion and other income collected Rp20.32 billion.
The direct burden borne by SBMA in its operations for one year was only IDR 59.72 billion. So that SBMA's gross profit still recorded an increase of 2.83 percent to IDR 53.64 billion when compared to the 2022 financial record recorded at IDR 52.16 billion.
"In the end, SBMA's positive achievement in 2023 resulted in net profit increasing 5.53 percent to Rp4.73 billion, compared to the 2022 period collected of Rp4.48 billion," said SBMA President Director, Rini Dwiyanti, Tuesday, April 16.
This achievement also raised SBMA's basic earnings per share to 5.09 per share as of December 31, 2023 from 4.83 per share in the same period in 2022.
SBMA's balance sheet as of December 31, 2023, such as total assets reaching IDR 276.17 billion, an increase of 2.43 percent from 2022 which was recorded at IDR 269.60 billion. This was contributed by equity of IDR 215.44 billion and liabilities of IDR 60.73 billion.

SBMA provides for large companies such as PT Pama Persada Nusantara, PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim), PT Petrosea Tbk, PT ABM Investama Tbk, PT Bumi Makmur Mandiri Utama and others.
Until now, the company has controlled 5 percent of the market in Kalimantan and will continue to increase along with its production facilities. Where the company's largest market segmentation is dominated by mining for Balikpapan, resellers (RDMP), as well as fabrication and machinery companies.
