Spurs Dramatic Win Over Nuggets 121-120, Badminton Graham Becomes A Hero
JAKARTA - San Antonio Spurs managed to create a spectacular comeback against Denver Nuggets with a final score of 121-120 at home on Friday or Saturday 13 April morning WIB. Rarely played reserve player,ADNE Graham, became a hero by firing a determining jumper with only 0.9 seconds remaining.
This defeat saw Nuggets (56-25) fall to the top three positions in the Western region along with Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder, leaving only one more game in the regular season for both.
Denver took control in the dominant second quarter, containing an explosion of attack from Victor Wembanyama Spurs in the middle of the third quarter, and took a 13-point lead towards the fourth quarter. However, Spurs managed to catch up quickly with a series of 14-2 closed with a jumper by Sandro Mamuclasshvili, reducing the deficit to 109-104 with 5 minutes 59 seconds remaining.
Three points by Graham followed by a shot with a layoff by Tre Jones left Spurs only one point adrift with 1 minute 48 seconds remaining. However, Aaron Gordon managed to tip-in after the ball that failed from Nikola Jokic with 1 minute 19 seconds remaining, increased Nuggets' lead to 120-117.
Graham then managed to score wither, and after Jokic failed to make a shot, he managed to shoot a decisive point from the rebound and assist given by Jones. Nuggets still had a last chance, but after both teams made a timeout, they didn't make the rebound in five seconds and the ball went to Spurs.
Wembanyama became the main star by scoring 34 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks to lead Spurs (21-60), including 17 points in less than three minutes in the third quarter.
Mamuclasshvili added 21 points of his best season along with 12 rebounds, Zach Collins scored 15 points, Jones and Julian Champagnie each scored 14 points, and Graham scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Jamal Murray leads Nuggets with 35 points, followed by Jokic with 22 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. scored 14 points, Gordon had 13 points, and Christian Braun scored 11 points.
Nuggets were only 43-41 ahead after turnaroundranzer Collins with 6 minutes 42 seconds remaining in the second quarter, but they managed to increase the lead by a 10--0 series over the next three minutes. Nuggets managed to limit Spurs scoring just 18 points in the quarter and bringing the lead 68-50 at half-time.
Murray's 21 points in the first half were the highest among all players. Wembanyama led Spurs with 15 points and eight rebounds and received his first technical foul in his career in the first half.
