Trans Sumatra Toll Traffic Reaches 103,974 Vehicles In First And Second Eid
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) noted that traffic on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) increased by 86 percent on the first and second Eid al-Fitr or the period from 10-11 April 2024.Based on Hutama Karya data, the average daily traffic or LHR at JTTS during that period reached 103,974 vehicles."The generality of this traffic reflects the occurrence of mobility and travel activities on Lebaran Day 2024, mainly on the second day of Lebaran (April 11) and on short toll roads," said EVP Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim in his official statement, Friday, April 12.Adjib said the highest LHR was in the Indrapura-Five Puluh section, followed by Binjai-Stabat and Sigli-Banda Aceh."Hutama Karya sees that the two toll roads are quite close to access to tourism and make it easier for travelers to stay in touch with their extended families on the first and second days of Eid al-Fitr 2024," he said.
The following are the details of the LHR per section at JTTS:1. Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung (Terpeka) toll road as many as 18.115 vehicles or an increase of 70 percent from normal LHR;2. Palembang-Prabumulih (Palindra & Inprabu) toll road has 17,104 vehicles, an increase of 77 percent from normal LHR;3. Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung (Bengtaba) toll road reaches 2,505 vehicles, an increase of 103 percent from normal LHR;4. Pekanbaru-Bangkinang (Pekbang) toll road as many as 7,678 vehicles or an increase of 87 percent from normal LHR;5. Pekanbaru-Dumai (Permai) toll road reaches 16,380 vehicles, an increase of 27 percent from normal LHR;6. Indrapura-Fifty (Inkish) Toll Road as many as 19,030 vehicles or 171 percent higher than normal LHR;7. Binjai-Stabat (Binsa) Toll Road has 17,068 vehicles, an increase of 130 percent from normal LHR;8 Sigli-Banda Aceh (Seulimeum-Baitussalam) toll roads totaling 6,094 vehicles or an increase of 123 percent from normal LHR.Meanwhile, separately, the additional functional toll road LHR such as the Bangkinang-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road as many as 3,845 vehicles and the Indrapura-Kisaran Section Limapuluh-Kisaran toll road reached 7,507 vehicles.
