Prilly Latuconsina Caught Using 3 Kg Subsidized LPG Gas Cylinders, These Are The Rules For Use

JAKARTA - Instagram social media accounts belonging to artist Prilly Latuconsina were invaded by netizens because they were caught using 3 kg LPG cylinders which are gas cylinders specifically for the poor.

Through his Instagram post Prilly then provided clarification if the 3kg LPG gas cylinder used was a loan from a regular gas driver because the gas cylinder stock used ran out.

"There is no intention of hiding or anything because it is behind a shopping bag. I didn't know much either. When the regular gasman I came and brought gas, which I often ordered, I immediately changed it and I returned the gas again," wrote Prilly, quoted Thursday, April 11.

Whereas previously the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) had begun to enforce mandatory listing rules for customers who wanted to buy 3 kg LPG cylinders.

The Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tutuka Ariadji, explained that this step was the Government's effort to realize the transformation of the distribution of 3 kg LPG cylinders on target. This policy aims to make the increasing amount of subsidies fully enjoyed by groups of people unable or on target.

For 3 kg LPG users who have not been registered or want to check the user's status, they are required to register or check their personal data in the LPG Sub-Distributor / Agent before making the purchase.

Meanwhile, the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of PT Pertamina Persero, Alfian Nasution, said that agents and bases that violate these rules will be given strict sanctions. The sanction in question is business closure.

"If he also sells without a NIK, it will be easily detected and will be dealt with firmly by Pertamina. For agents and bases that commit violations and we will definitely close it," said Alfian on Wednesday, January 3.
