Reduce Vehicle Density, MBZ Toll Road Will Open To Close Situational
PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek has imposed a situational opening and closing access to the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Flyover section, and KM 48 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to unravel the volume density of vehicles at that point.
"In order to unravel the traffic density during the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H period, over the police discretion, PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek as the manager of Jalan Layang MBZ, and PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol as the manager of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section opened and closed at the MBZ and KM 48 flyover entrances," said General Manager of Operations and Maintenance of PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek Desti Anggraeni in a statement in Jakarta as quoted by Antara, Thursday.
He said the traffic engineering to open and close started at 13.30 WIB as a result of traffic congestion on KM 48 + 000 exit access to Cikampek.
The toll road is a meeting between the MBZ Flyover section, as well as the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section.
He further conveyed that his party together with the Police, meanwhile closing access to the MBZ Flyover section, namely access to the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 10 to Cikampek Toll Road, entry access from the JORR E KM 46+200 Toll Road, and access to the JORR E KM 45+200 Toll Road.
According to him, during the closure of the KM 10 entrance to the Jakarta-Cikampek section leading to Jalan Layang MBZ, toll road users who will go to Cikampek can go through the existing Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to the density on Jalan Layang MBZ return to normal.

In addition, his party urges toll road users to remain careful by maintaining a safe distance in driving, obeying traffic signs and directions from officers in the field, and ensuring the condition of vehicles that are roadworthy.
Previously, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 1,368,243 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area on D-7 to D-1 Lebaran or 3-9 April 2024.
This figure is the cumulative traffic flow (traffic) of four barrier / main toll gates, namely GT Cikupa (direction to Merak), GT Ciawi (direction to Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (direction to Trans-Java), and GT Kalihurip Utama (direction to Bandung).
