Badminton Experienced An Increase In Passengers On The Second Day Of Eid

JAKARTA - Fast Train Passengers experience an increase on Eid, especially departures from Halim Station to Padalarang and Tegalluar Stations.

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said KCIC had anticipated this upgrade by adding 12 trips per day until April 18, 2024.

Eva said, the increase in the number of passengers was due to the fact that after staying in touch with the family, passengers began to take advantage ofqsh for travel and vacations to the city of Bandung and its surroundings.

"The increase has been very visible since Wednesday (April 10) Afternoon and Thursday (April 11). After praying Eid, there were many passengers who immediately used better wishes. There are also those who have just traveled today to spend the Eid holiday and collective leave," Eva said in a statement to the media, Thursday, April 11.

Based on observations, on the favorite hours and routes, namely Halim Departure today, Thursday, April 11, 2024, departures from 07.55, 08.20, to 12.00 continue to be crowded with passengers. The occupancy at the favorite clock reached 80 to 95 percent.

Meanwhile, sales on April 12 also showed a significant increase, where at the time of the favorite clock it had shown 85 percent.

This number is still moving because sales are still ongoing. It can be seen that overcrowding continues at counters and ticket purchase machines for reservation and go show purchases.

"With 52 trips per day, passengers get many alternative taxi trips that they can choose according to their needs. The distance between schedules or headwayjash during peak hours reaches 25 to 30 minutes so that passengers get high flexibility," Eva continued.

KCIC also appealed to passengers to comply with the provisions related to their luggage so that the comfort of all passengers can be maintained.

Each passenger can only carry 3 items with a maximum dimension of 100cm x 30cm x 40cm with a maximum weight of 20kg. The 3 items can be in the form of 2 suitcases or boxes and 1 backpack above the handbag.

Passengers are also prohibited from carrying animals, narcotics, firearms, and sharpness, flammable goods, sharp goods, and goods that are not allowed by officers and statutory regulations.

Passengers are expected to set a travel time to MAYh Station to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. It is feared that passengers will be left behind because Gate boarding will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs for safety reasons.

Eva added, passengers should be able to buy tickets through the Rights application and ticket.kcic.co.id website. This is because purchases through the 2 channels have advantages, namely obtaining the online Cancellation and Schedule Change feature.

"KCIC continues to prepare services as best as possible after Eid. Innovation continues to be developed to provide convenience for passengers who will enjoy media services," concluded Eva
