Erick Thohir Supports Journalists Returning Home By Tourism Train

JAKARTA - The BUMN Journalists Forum (FWBUMN) has again held a 2024 Free Homecoming program using a Tour Train for journalists. This is done as a form of support for media personnel for the Fun Homecoming Program with SOEs initiated by SOE Minister Erick Thohir.

For this reason, Erick Thohir also supports the implementation of the 2024 FWBUMN Free Homecoming, and hopes that media colleagues can safely and comfortably during the trip.

"As partners from the Ministry of SOEs and SOEs, of course what these FWBUMN colleagues are doing is very positive. We are all of course consistent in supporting the implementation of a conducive homecoming flow by prioritizing the safety and security of travelers, hopefully media colleagues can safely and comfortably during the trip," said Erick.

Meanwhile, FWBUMN Chairman Riky Anwardi said the Free Homecoming FWBUMN program was attended by 30 journalists from various national mass media, and had met the requirements, including by sending ID cards and press cards.

The journalists departed from Gambir Station using a Priority type train on April 8, 2024 at 22:40 WIB and will arrive at Madiun's final destination at 08.08 WIB.

"This free homecoming is expected to help fellow journalists to stay in touch with their families in their hometowns," said Riky.

The purpose of this time's FWBUMN Free Homecoming to Cirebon - Purwokerto - Kroya - Kebumen - Kutoarjo - Yogyakarta - Solo Balapan - Madiun. During the trip, travelers can enjoy train facilities, ranging from karaoke services to dishes for sahur.

The implementation of the 2024 FWBUMN Free Homecoming is also supported by several SOEs including PT Pertamina (Persero), Bank BNI, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PerumBULOG, Telkom Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Jamkrindo, Pegadaian, InJourney, Bank BTN, MIND ID, IFG, PPA, Biofarma, Pelindo, PTPN III, Pupuk Indonesia, Krakatau Steel, and Bank BSI.
