KPK Detainees Pray Eid Al-Fitr At The Jaya Guntur Pomdam Detention Center Mosque, Strictly Escorted

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will grant the right to worship for its detainees. They are allowed to perform Eid prayers at the KPK branch detention center mosque at Pomdam Jaya Guntur today, Wednesday, April 10.

"KPK facilitates its implementation," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Wednesday, April 10.

Ali said the detainees would later be taken to the Id prayer location at around 06.00 WIB. The one who became the imam and khatib was Ustadz M. Zakaria from Daharut Tauhiid, Jakarta.

"They will use the prisoner's car accompanied by tight security from prison officials," he said.

After performing Eid prayers, the detainees will be taken back to the detention center (rutan). "Continue with the opening of a visit service for the families of detainees," said Ali.

Ali said, the prisoners had the opportunity to gather with their immediate families to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri. On the first day of Eid or Wednesday, April 10, visits can be made from 10.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB.

Likewise, on the second day of Eid or Thursday, April 11. "As for the schedule for food reception, starting at 08.00 WIB to 09.30 WIB," concluded the spokesman with the prosecutor's background.
