D-3 Lebaran, 197,440 Vehicles Passing The Trans Sumatra Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) noted, the volume of traffic (VLL) for vehicles on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) reached 197,440 vehicles in the period 6-7 April 2024. This figure shows a significant increase of about 44 percent from VLL Normal.

This increase reflects the occurrence of high mobility and travel activities during the 2024 Eid homecoming flow at JTTS.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Adjib Al Hakim said his party would continue to inform the latest developments regularly.

"We urge toll road users to be able to check the condition of the vehicle before driving, ensure that it is prime and does not drive sleepy, pull over and rest if it is sleepy, ensure that the electronic money card is in good condition and the balance is sufficient before traveling to avoid vulnerable hours," said Adjib in his official statement, quoted Monday, April 8.

The following are details of the distribution of traffic on the JTTS Toll Road section on April 6-7, 2024:

Vehicles crossing the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung Toll Road (Terpeka): 49,558 vehicles, an increase of 92 percent from normal VLLs.

Vehicles crossing the Palembang-Prabumulih Toll Road (Palindra & Inprabu): 38,325 vehicles, an increase of 59 percent from normal VLLs.

Vehicles crossing the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road (Bengtaba): 2,976 vehicles, an increase of 6.6 percent from normal VLLs.

Vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Toll Road (Pekbang): 7,175 vehicles, an increase of 6.8 percent from normal VLL.

Vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road (Permai): 39,792 vehicles, an increase of 29.10 percent from normal VLLs.

Vehicles passing through the Indrapura-Fifty Pulang Toll Road (Inkis): 19,399 vehicles or 19 percent higher than normal VLLs.

Vehicles crossing the Binjai-Tanjung Pura Toll Road (Binsa): 26,217 vehicles, an increase of 39 percent from normal VLLs.

Vehicles crossing the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road (Seulimeum-Baitussalam) (Sibanceh): 8,179 vehicles, an increase of 31 percent from normal VLLs.

Meanwhile, separately for VLL, additional functional toll roads during the Eid homecoming flow, namely:

Bangkinang-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road for the period 5-6 April 2024 totaling 3,634 vehicles.

The Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road for Sections of Fifty-Kisaran during the period 4-6 April 2024 was 12,055 vehicles.
