Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr, Jakarta's Economic Journalists Club Gives Compensation To Orphans
JAKARTA - Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, the Jakarta Economic Journalists Club (KJEJ) held a breaking of the fast together and compensation for orphans from the Yauma Orphanage, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta at the D'Arci Hotel Cempaka Putih, 6 April 2024.
The Chief Executive of the event as well as the Chairman of KJEJ Windarto said that the implementation of the baby's experience and compensation was held to enliven the month of Ramadan and Towards Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H.
"Alhamdulillah, this is the second time we have held a compensation event for orphans. Last year a similar activity was also successfully carried out. This is all thanks to the support of all parties, especially a number of companies that are sponsors of this activity," said Windarto in his official statement, Sunday, April 7.
According to him, previously KJEJ held more activities in the form of discussions and webinars.
"This time, we want to make the momentum of Ramadan fasting to share with orphans. In addition, the moment to stay in touch between the media and thebukber activities and providing compensation to orphans will also be our new portfolio of activities," he said.
In the event, each orphan who was present was given compensation in the form of cash and a goodie bag containing a school bag.
"We appreciate the various parties who have supported this event, which of course will greatly help our brothers and sisters who have been accompanied, such as Bank DKI, BGR Logistics Indonesia, and PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya. We hope that the good cooperation that has been established so far with fellow journalists who are members of the Jakarta Economic Journalists Club will be maintained," he explained.
In the future, in the following year, we want to make the Bukber event with media friends and compensation for orphans as a routine activity.

"Just pray with much better preparation, we want the implementation of the activities of bukber and compensation for orphans to run better, among others, by involving orphans and more gifts, for example," he said.
