WhatsApp Web Can Now Make Phone And Video Calls
JAKARTA - WhatsApp desktop version can be used to make voice calls and video calls. The company announced the arrival of the new feature recently. By offering end-to-end encrypted calls for WhatsApp users for the computer version.
Voice calling and video calling features are nothing new to WhatsApp. The WhatsApp application for Android and iOS is already available. WhatsApp plans to launch a phone feature in its desktop application that can be used by small group users at the end of last year.
However, the feature was launched today. That means, this feature is here and can be used by all desktop version of WhatsApp users. Make calling activities simpler and can be used on various devices.
As with the existing video call feature, this new feature offers the same encryption as in the mobile version, namely end-to-end encryption. With this encryption, WhatsApp and Facebook cannot hear or see calls made by users.
The drawback of this new feature for the desktop version of WhatsApp is that users can only make calls with one user. This means that this feature cannot be used for conference voice calls or video calls together.
