Immediately Launched, Ordering Kia EV9 Starts Opening In Malaysia
JAKARTA - Kia Malaysia has officially announced that it has opened an order for the domestic EV9 model, this was announced through Kia's official Facebook social media page.
Quoting from the Paultan page, Friday, April 5, the South Korean brand did not specify in more detail about the variant and price for now, but several local dealer networks revealed that Kia EV9 would have two variants.
If you look at the models in Thailand, Kia EV9 in the White Elephant Country is offered in two variants, both of which are equipped with a 99.8 kWh lithium ion battery that can charge DC quickly at a maximum of 350 kW from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes.
In addition, both variants are also equipped with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system capable of generating up to 3.58 kW of power to power electrical accessories and other devices.
In more detail, the basic variant, namely Earth Long Range, has a range of 680 km in calculation (NEDC), and an electric motor installed behind with 201 hp and a torque of 350 Nm, besides that the acceleration of 0-100 km/hour touched 9.4 seconds and the highest speed was 185 km/hour.

Meanwhile, the highest variant of GT-Line AWD with the top specifications received propulsion arrangements for all twin-engine wheels with a total system output of 380 hp and acceleration of 700 Nm, as well as a range of 647 km (NEDC).
Kia EV9's presence has long been awaited by automotive lovers in Malaysia, even since it was first seen last August. When it officially launches, it will certainly add to the ranks of the Kia model line-up in Malaysia. Regarding the price, it is estimated that around 450,000 ringgit or around Rp. 1.5 billion.
Talking about Kia EV9 was actually present in Indonesia last year, but there is only one variant, namely GT-Line which is priced at IDR 1.97 billion (OTR Jakarta).
