From The Air, The National Police Chief-TNI Commander Monitors Homecoming Readiness At Gilimanuk Port
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto monitor the readiness of homecoming at Gilimanuk Harbor and its surroundings. Monitoring is carried out by air, Thursday, April 4.Later, the two TNI-Polri leaders will also directly review the condition of Gilimanuk Port. The goal is to ensure security and service for the 2024 Eid homecoming and backflow.Sigit previously said that several efforts had been made so that the community would feel safe and comfortable when returning to their respective hometowns. One of them is by evaluating the steps that have been taken in the improvements in the flow back and forth this year."Some things are our notes, that from the results of the existing evaluation related to ketupat 2023 operations, there are several notes that of course we will make improvements to the 2024 ketupat operation," Sigit said as quoted on Thursday, April 4.In addition to evaluation, Sigit said, the next effort and strategy is to carry out direct checks at the location of the homecoming flow both by land, air and sea. This step is to find out firsthand what must be repaired and prepared in order to welcome the flow of homecoming and return to Lebaran.
"We will carry out checks on the routes of Central Java, West Java, East Java to Bali. This is all to ensure that the preparations for going home in 2024 can really be carried out safely and well. Of course we urge you because the extraordinary density if people can carry out homecoming early will certainly be better. Because of course it will reduce the potential for retail on the road," said Sigit.
