Hidden In Duren Sawit, Chevrolet Sedan 'Antik' Andhi Pramono Confiscated By KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated an antique car of the type Chevrolet BLR 58 type Biscayne belonging to the former Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono.
Vehicles suspected of being related to alleged money laundering (TPPU) are hidden in a car repair workshop in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.
"The investigative team has again confiscated assets of economic value which allegedly belonged to the suspect AP. The assets are in the form of a blue Chevrolet BLR 58 type Biscayne car," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, April 4.
Ali said this asset was not only deposited in the workshop but also controlled by other people. The confiscation was carried out after information and tracing of the Tracing Asset Team from the Directorate of Asset Tracking of Evidence Management and Execution of the KPK.
"This car is thought to have been deliberately hidden and stored in one of the car repair workshops located in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta," he said.
"With these findings and other assets, it will soon be further confirmed to the witnesses summoned by the investigative team," Ali continued.
Previously reported, the anti-corruption commission revealed that the total assets that had been confiscated from the former Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono reached Rp. 76 billion. Confiscations were carried out related to money laundering resulting from receiving gratuities.
One of the assets confiscated was 2,597 square meters of land located in Kenten Laut Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.

As for the gratification case, Andhi was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Panel of Judges at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court. He is said to have received gratuities of up to Rp58,974,116,189.
The details of the receipt are IDR 50,286,275,189.79. Then he received 264,500 US dollars or equivalent to IDR 3,800,871,000 and 409 thousand Singapore dollars or equivalent to IDR 4,886,970,000.
