Persija Immediately Took A Stand After Being Sentenced To FIFA
JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta is one of the clubs sentenced to tire registration by FIFA. The management of the Kemayoran Tigers did not remain silent and immediately took a stand by stating that they would resolve the sanctions as soon as possible.
Previously, it was known that FIFA sentenced five Indonesian clubs, namely Persija Jakarta, Persiraja Banda Aceh, Persikab Bandung Regency, Sada North Sumatra FC, and Persiwa Wamena. The five Indonesian clubs received registration tires.
FIFA did not explain in detail what violations the five Indonesian clubs committed. However, the punishment was imposed if a club violated the transfer regulations or had unpaid transfer debts to other clubs.

In some cases, sanctions can be lifted by paying off debts. Broadly speaking, this tire registration is a prohibition for clubs to register new players they recruited in the transfer market to the local federation that prevented the clubs from playing their new players.
Responding to this, Persija Jakarta through its official statement will take quick steps to escape the sentence.
"Persija has not remained silent in responding to the news of FIFA sanctions in the form of a ban on recruiting players for a maximum of three transfer periods. Quick steps to resolve the case will be carried out immediately," Persija's official statement was quoted as saying on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Persija's President Director, Ambono Janurianto, also stated that his team would soon escape punishment. The main step that will be taken is to take care of the problem with the party concerned.
Ambono confirmed that Persija had an unfinished obligation when signing new players at the start of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 season. Therefore, the management of the Kemayoran Tigers is trying to solve it.
"We will settle our obligations with the relevant clubs in the near future before the transfer market opens," he said.
Persija Jakarta hopes that the sanctions will be immediately lifted by FIFA after an agreement is reached with the relevant clubs and all obligations are completed.
