The Riau Islands Prosecutor's Office Is Investigating Allegations Of Corruption In The Construction Of TVRI LPP Studios
TANJUNGPINANG - Riau Islands High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) revealed the alleged corruption case in the implementation of the 2022 LPP TVRI studio construction work with a budget ceiling of Rp. 10 billion.
"The handling of this case began with a report from the local community," said Head of the Riau Islands Attorney General's Office, Denny Anteng Prakoso, in Tanjungpinang, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.
After receiving the report, the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Office Intelligence Team immediately conducted a field review, then clarified the relevant parties and collected data/documents on the implementation of the 2022 LPP TVRI studio building construction.
After finding an indication of irregularities by the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Office Intelligence Team, an exposure was finally carried out which was attended by the Riau Islands Attorney General's Office Structural Officer by obtaining the conclusion that it was determined to be transferred to the Special Crimes Sector (Pidsus) of the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Office.
"On February 7, 2024, an investigation was carried out by the Investigation Team of the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Office, in order to carry out a series of investigative actions to find and find a criminal incident suspected of being a criminal act to determine whether or not an investigation could be carried out," said Denny.
From a series of investigative actions by conducting examinations of related parties, collecting data/documents and field reviews with a team of experts, the investigative team then conducted an exposure which was attended by the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Structural Officer with the results of conclusions at the investigation stage, namely that legal facts had been obtained. there is an allegation of an alleged corruption crime.

This is contrary to the laws and regulations based on Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Procurement of Goods/Services and violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended and added to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
"The investigative team continues to explore to thoroughly investigate the case. We hope that all levels of society will continue to monitor, provide information on the development of the case and fully support efforts to eradicate corruption in the Riau Islands region," said Denny.
