Three Google Maps Updates That Make Travel Easy During Holidays

JAKARTA - Google Maps is the right application to accompany the holiday plan. This application can direct roads, show the best route, provide traffic information, to monitor traffic jams. Maps' use doesn't stop there because Google has added several new features. With some added updates, Maps can now recommend the best place, create a list of places, and others. The first update Google launches is a recommendation of the best place when you visit a city. This feature will work when you open Maps and type the city's name visited in the search box, then trace the city. When the search results are visible, you can scroll the screen to view multiple lists. The application will display a Top List of places that are always visited and a List of Updated Trends showing a place with a surge in popularity. There is also a List of Permata to show the most likely secret places in the environment. The entire list that displays recommendations for this place is only launched in 40 cities in America and Canada. Next, Google adds the ability to list in Maps. This capability is made for users to manage the variety of places they want to visit. This update will be launched globally on iOS and Android at the end of March.

To use this feature, open the Stored tab and tap the New List button. After that, you just need to find any place, then click Add Place. Do the same way to collect more places on the list you created. The last update Google launched was a restaurant search based on the menu provided. This feature powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) will appear when users search for one of the places to eat and view photos of the food. When users return to view the map, they will see various restaurant names with the name of a dish. Maps will also show information such as the cost of the menu, how popular the food is, and whether the menu is classified as vegetarian and vegan.
