Grab Report Sees An Increase In Digital Transactions In The Month Of Ramadan
JAKARTA - According to the Lebaran Report released by Grab January 2024, the moment of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2024 can actually contribute to increasing the volume of digital transactions.
This report shows that 84 percent of Indonesians are ready to increase their digital activities during Ramadan, with 72 percent of them planning to use Grab services for delivery and payment transactions.
In addition, 86 percent of respondents also admitted that they were willing to shop for quality goods for their families at home.
Furthermore, the report also states that 79 percent of Grab users, including vehicle users, chose Grab for convenience at special moments, causing a 19 percent increase in weekly passenger numbers compared to before Ramadan.

The Grab report also saw an increasing trend of travel to the airport ahead of Eid, namely from the third week onwards. Coupled with the tight travel route due to the tradition of going home to gather with family.
Overall, the Grab Lebaran Report shows an increase in mobility using online transportation services, spending on household needs, sending goods, and transferring money also contributes to the increase in digital transactions in Grab.
