Prioritizing The Welfare Of Film Workers, Prilly Latuconsina Encourages The Actor's Manpower Law
JAKARTA - Artist Prilly Latuconsina realizes that the Indonesian film industry is now producing more and more films. This made her realize that as one of the producers of the production house, Prilly had to pay attention to the welfare of her workers.
One of them is asking to raise the status of an actor as a professional worker. Where he saw that there were still many actors who worked without clear working hours and even fell ill.
"Incidentally, I had a meeting with the minister to push for the Actor's Manpower Law, including working hours and actors as professional professions because currently the professional actors are still workers," said Prilly Latuconsina in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.
"There are still a lot of actors out there who shoot 24 hours, don't sleep because they have to shoot and maybe experience some sick events or something but can't be helped because the production time is short, a little, there can't be additional days so when you get sick you have to keep filming," he continued.

This has been conveyed by Prilly directly asking the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenmparekraf). He hopes that this request can be realized by cooperation from the government.
"Well, that's how we trace it. That's why this morning I met with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy to support our program for actor welfare," he added.
"Hopefully it can be supported by the government so that Indonesia's industrial system can be better than before and anyone who works in the film industry can prosper," he concluded.
