"Indonesia views the positive cooperation between bilateral defense and the Czech Republic in the procurement of defense equipment and cooperation in the defense industry," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 26.

Prabowo assessed that the cooperation in the defense sector between Indonesia and the Czech Republic had been going on for a long time. Both parties were considered to have a track record of good relations, especially when the two made a joint committee in the defense industry between Indonesia and the Czech Republic.

In the press release, the joint committee has held several meetings to discuss and explore the potential for cooperation that can be carried out by the two countries in the defense industry.

The Czechs themselves have advantages in the field of radar and communication systems technology, both for civilian and military interests.

The advantage, continued the press release, was absorbed by the government to strengthen the communication and defense industry.

Not only that, Indonesia is also exchanging defense technology to the Czechs as a form of cooperation.

With this collaboration, Prabowo hopes that the defense sector of the two parties can be stronger and bilateral relations will be maintained.
