Jabodebek LRT Projection Will Serve 25,000 Passengers On Eid Al-Fitr Day
JAKARTA - Jabodebek LRT Public Relations Manager Mahendro Trang Bawono said his party projected that it would serve 25,000 passengers during Eid al-Fitr or Eid Al-Fitr 2024.
The figures are the accumulation of 18 Jabodebek LRT stations.
"Our prediction is at 25,000 per day on Eid. On D+2 it can go up," he told reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 26.
Furthermore, Mahendro said, there was a different pattern of operations on the day of Eid al-Fitr, where the peak season would occur at noon before night.
"Use it if you use the pattern of Eid on weekends. We have two patterns on weekends and weekends, when you have holidays, leave together on weekends, so there are 260 trips on that day," he said.
Mahendro also said that the operation of the Jabodebek LRT trainset remains the same, namely 18 trains with 4 trains in reserve trains. Meanwhile, the headway or distance of arrival of the train is around 12.5 minutes.
"We anticipate when there is an increase in the number of users. We already have the same post because the flag of one KAI still has a post. So we have prepared our own officers," he said.

Even so, Mahendro said, LRT users fell when compared to working days.
Where during the Eid holiday period, users are predicted to be only 20,000 to 30,000 people per day.
Furthermore, Mahendro said this decline occurred because the majority of Jabodebek LRT users were office workers. Where during the national holidays, they do not use LRT.
"Actually, if we count, the trend when talking about the holiday season in commuter transportation modes or LRT tends to decrease compared to working days. So, the decline is quite quite almost half," said Mahendro.
