Swiss Open 2024 Results: Lanny/Ribka Win the Champion Title
JAKARTA - The women's doubles representatives from Indonesia, Lanny Tri Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto, succeeded in winning the title at the Swiss Open 2024. The victory was achieved in a battle against representatives from Taiwan, Hsu Ya Ching/Lin Wan Ching.
Appearing at St. Jakobshalle on Sunday, March 24 evening Western Indonesian Time (WIB), Lanny/Ribka had to go through a long journey in the final. After fighting through a rubber game, the Indonesian representative won 13-21, 21-16, 21-8.
Lanny/Ribka were able to take a long lead at the start of the game with a 4-0 advantage. However, the Taiwanese pair were able to take the lead and leave Lanny/Ribka 11-6 in the first game interval.
Then after the first game interval the Taiwanese pair managed to pull away 16-10, 21-11. Until finally the Taiwanese pair won the first game with a score of 21-13.
In the second game, Lanny/Rebekah were again behind 1-2, 2-4, 3-5 at the start of the game. However, Lanny/Ribka managed to equalize the score at 10-10 and lead 11-10 in the second game interval.

After this, there are still Indonesian representatives who will appear in the 2024 Swiss Open final, namely Indonesian women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, who is the first seed, who will face Spanish player Carolina Marin, who is the first seed.
Previously, Indonesian men's doubles Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri emerged as runners up at the Swiss Open 2024. This confirmation was obtained after Bagas/Fikri lost 22-24, 26-28 to the British pair Ben Lane/Sean Vendy.
