Anticipating The Accumulation Of Sumatra Travelers To Java, ASDP Bakauheni Prepares 66 Lebaran 2024 Ships
PT Transport Sungai Danau and Ferry (ASDP) Indonesian Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Port Branch, South Lampung, has prepared 66 ships for Eid 2024 transportation.
"The readiness of the fleet, we prepare 60 ships for regular and six for executives and all of them are ready for operation," said General Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Bakauheni Branch Rudi Sunarko on Sunday, March 24, confiscated by Antara.
He explained, with the addition of the fleet of ships so that there is no accumulation of passengers at the peak of the homecoming flow from Sumatra Island to Java Island using sea routes.
He also added that his party had prepared various port and ship facilities to ensure the comfort of passengers in the 2024 Eid homecoming.
"We have prepared seven piers for the dock, of which five regular piers and two executives, as well as comfort support facilities in the port area," he said.

He appealed to ferry service users to buy Ferizy tickets from far away.
"We urge prospective travelers from Sumatra to Java who will use ASDP crossing services to buy tickets from far away," he said.
PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has imposed a new provision for purchasing online ferry tickets starting December 11, 2023.
This provision applies to Bakauheni Port, Merak Port, Ketapang Port, and Gilimanuk Port.
The new provision is that the ferry ticket booking can be made up to a maximum radius of five kilometers before the port.
This provision is stipulated in the Letter of the Director General of Hubdat AP.406/1/5/DJPD/2023 regarding the Arrangement of Electronic Ticket Ordering Services around the Port.
