Sue The Results Of The Presidential Election To The Constitutional Court, AMIN's Legal Team Insists On Wanting The Election To Be Repeated
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the National Legal Team (THN) of the Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) Winning National Team, Sugito Atmo Prawiro, said that his party had planned to file a dispute over General Election Results (PHPU) to the Constitutional Court (MK) 1 month before the voting (voting) was held on February 14, 2024.
"The plan to file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court has been one month before voting," said Sugito in a discussion on the MNC Trijaya polemic entitled "An Election Dispute, Questionnaire Rights and Political Compromises" reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 23.
His party has prepared the completeness of a number of files to witnesses who confirm the alleged fraud in the 2024 presidential election, even before it is held, to be used when filing a election dispute lawsuit to the Constitutional Court.
One month we prepared various kinds of evidence, documents, various kinds of witnesses to be prepared when they will be used at the Constitutional Court. So, we have been preparing for a long time," he said.
The AMIN team assessed that indications of alleged fraud in the 2024 presidential election occurred since the issuance of the Constitutional Court's decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the provisions for the requirements for the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates (candidates and vice presidential candidates).
Furthermore, there were objections from the public regarding the Constitutional Court's decision, so there was a decision on the alleged violation of the ethics of the Constitutional Court judge from the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK).
"We are also doing various kinds of problems related to elections in Bawaslu, and that is the number of hundreds because the AMIN National Law TIM is already in 34 provinces," he said.

Sugito explained that the 2024 presidential election dispute filed by THN AMIN to the Constitutional Court requested that the candidate for vice president (cawapres) number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka be disqualified as the winner of the 2024 presidential election and re-vote.
"Yes, of course it must be repeated if, for example, this kind of incident, like it or not, because (candidate) number two of course on the order of the Constitutional Court must replace the vice presidential candidate," he said.
Previously, Thursday (21/3), the legal team for presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) visited the Constitutional Court (MK) to officially register a request for a dispute over General Election Results (PHPU) case or election lawsuit.
