The Thief Of The Central Lombok Kejari Office House Was Arrested, Takes Away The Water Pump To Vacuum Cleaner
PRAYA - Satreskrim Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) arrested the perpetrators of the theft of the official residence of the local Prosecutor's Office (Kajari), which is inhabited by the Head of Civil and State Administration.
Head of Public Relations of the Central Lombok Police, Iptu Hariono, said that his party arrested a man with the initials MDD (18) from Jonggat District who was suspected of stealing at the official residence of the Central Lombok District Attorney.
"We secured the alleged perpetrator this morning at his parents' house," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, March 23.
The theft occurred at the beginning of Ramadan 1445 hijri, when the thieves broke into the house empty, because it was left for activities outside the area in a few days.
"After returning, the victim found that his house was already a mess," he said.
The thief carried several valuables including two watches, one piece of gold, one water pump and one dust suction machine.
After receiving a report from the victim on March 15, 2024, his party immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting the perpetrators of the theft of an empty house specialist.
"The alleged perpetrator of MDD is a recidivist and is indeed an empty house specialist," he said.

Meanwhile, the Praya Police Chief, Iptu Susan added, in this case apart from MDD there were two other perpetrators, namely LU (21) a resident of Praya District who is currently being detained at the Kediri Police, West Lombok Police with the same case and the alleged LPA perpetrator is still investigating.
The modus operandi of the perpetrators of the theft of empty houses must be watched out for by the public, so that when going home, they can avoid this crime.
For this reason, he appealed to people who will travel or return to their hometowns, to always be aware of the actions of the perpetrators of the crime, especially when leaving their homes empty.
" Valuables should be stored in a safe place and leave the house to a neighbor close to him or his brother," he said.
