Towards Indonesia Gold 2045, Moeldoko Says Young People Must Maintain President Jokowi's Sustainability

JAKARTA The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) initiated a movement of young people to maintain the sustainability of President Joko Widodo's legacy, and formulate policies for the future of Indonesia Emas 2045. This movement was realized in the form of the Indonesia Future Network (IFN).

IFN is a forum for young people who have competence in their respective fields to network each other and share ideas to answer global challenges. Starting from health issues, public policies, education, food, energy and the environment, industry, as well as information and communication technology.

"The results of each discussion will be a recommendation for the current government and the upcoming government," explained the Presidential Chief of Staff, General TNI (Ret.) Moeldoko, at a Kick off Indonesia Future Network (IFN) press conference, at the Bina Graha Jakarta building, Jum'at 22 March. The press conference was also attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, and the Minister of Health, Budi Gunawan Sadikin.

Moeldoko said young people, especially those at the middle managerial level, must know global challenges in order to formulate constructive solutions for the government. "Through this IFN they can provide suggestions and input," he said.

Furthermore, the 2013-2015 TNI Commander also mentioned that the Indonesia Future Network (IFN) program is a form of public involvement in the national strategic project process. "The potential of young people who are scattered today, want us to withdraw as a strength and collaboration, so that their thoughts can continue the legacy that has been built by President Joko Widodo," concluded Moeldoko.

IFN is a multi-party collaboration program between the Presidential Staff Office and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency, the Pijar Foundation, Huawei, and the Young Citizens Association. IFN is held once a month, from February to September 2024.

Participants who attend are future leaders who are curated and have competence in their respective fields. Starting from the pyrovatist sector, government, NGOs, to organizations.
