JAKARTA - Ahead of Lebaran, Bank DKI is ready to provide new currency exchange services to meet the needs of money and rupiah currency exchange services for the community by providing as many as 15 Bank DKI branch offices and mobile cash services. This is also in line with the support of the 2024 Bank Indonesia Rupiah Rupiah and Eid Al-Fitr (SERAMBI) program.

The 2024 Bank Indonesia Serambi Program was held to meet the increasing community needs for Rupiah money at the moment of welcoming the 2024 Eid Al-Fitr National Religious Holiday (HBKN).

For information, Bank Indonesia has prepared Money Decent for Circulation (ULE) with a projection of IDR 197.6 trillion through 449 mobile cash service points and 4,264 banking exchange services points, from March 15 to April 5, 2024. Including one of them through Bank DKI branch offices.

Through an official statement on Thursday, March 21, the Director of Technology and Operations concurrently the Acting Director (Plt.) of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, said that the money exchange service provided by Bank DKI aims to provide convenience for customers in preparing cash needs during the Eid Al-Fitr 2024 holiday period.

Starting from April 1, 2024, Bank DKI customers can get money exchange services at 15 Bank DKI Branch Offices, during service hours at 08.00-15.00 WIB, including Balaikota Branch, Juanda Branch, Central Jakarta Mayor Branch, South Pintu Besar Branch, Tanjung Priok Branch, North Jakarta Mayor Branch, Matraman Branch, Otista Branch, East Jakarta Mayor Branch, South Jakarta Mayor Branch, West Jakarta Mayor Branch, Permata Hijau Branch, Pondok Indah Syariah Branch, and Wahid Hasyim Syariah Branch All branch offices have been registered at the Bank Indonesia SERAMBI Expansion Counter (BI) 2024.

In addition to the exchange service at the Branch counter, Bank DKI will also open a Mobile Cash service at the Bung Karno Badminton Hall (Istora) on March 28-31, 2024 at 08.00 WIB.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi also added that according to directions from Bank Indonesia, Bank DKI has prepared cash along with infrastructure and supporting services such as branch offices, ATM networks and mobile cash services.

"This step is expected to help Bank DKI customers in meeting various needs during the period of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr 2024. Through Bank DKI's readiness to fulfill the cash needs, it is hoped that it can contribute positively to the circulation of money in the community and national economic growth," said Arie.
