Korlantas: 61.6 Million People Will Go Home To Central Java During Eid Al-Fitr 2024
JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police and the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) predicts that 193.6 million people will go home for Lebaran 2024. Of the hundreds of millions of people, most are heading to Central Java.

Not only about the area to be targeted, Korlantas also surveyed the types of vehicles that would be most widely used during Eid Al-Fitr 2024 homecoming.

"For buses, private cars, motorcycles, on average there are 37 million, 35, and 31. This is what we will manage by land," said Slamet.

For homecoming flow, contraflow engineering will be implemented from KM 36 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to KM 72 of the Cikopo-Palimanan or Cipali toll road.
