Entrepreneurs Must Give THR D-7 Lebaran, If Late Fined 5 Percent
The Ministry of Manpower asks employers to pay the holiday allowance (THR) no later than D-7 before Eid Al-Fitr 2024.

Director General of Binwasnaker and K3 of the Ministry of Manpower, Haiyani Rumondang said that the fine refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower (Permenaker) Number 6 of 2016 concerning Religious Holiday Allowances for Workers/Laborers in Companies.
"When it is late to be paid, the fine is 5 percent of the total THR, either individually or later the number of workers who are not paid," he said at the Ministry of Manpower, Jakarta, written Tuesday, March 19.
Furthermore, Haiyani emphasized that the imposition of the fine does not eliminate the obligation of entrepreneurs to continue to pay Religious THR to workers or laborers.
For information, the Minister of Manpower has also issued Circular Number M / 2 / HK.04 / III / 2024 concerning the Implementation of the 2024 Religious Holiday Allowance News for Workers / Laborers in Companies.

Previously, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah warned companies to pay Eid al-Fitr (THR) or Eid Al-Fitr in full or not in installments.
"This religious THR must be paid in full, not in installments, once again I reiterate that THR must be paid in full and cannot be paid in installments," said Ida at the THR Press Conference, at the Ministry of Manpower Office, Jakarta, March 18.
