Acting Governor Leave The Legal Process Of The Head Of The Health Office To The North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office
The Acting Governor of North Sumatra Hassanudin handed over the entire legal process that ensnared the Head of the North Sumatra Health Service to the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office.
"We leave it to the legal process, according to the data and facts found by the legal apparatus," said Hassanudin, in Medan, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 18.
Hasanudin will see the entire process of developing the case that ensnared his subordinates before legal assistance is carried out.
"If deemed necessary, we will provide assistance," he said.
However, he stressed that the case would be fully handed over to the authorities for follow-up in accordance with the applicable legal process.
"This incident is a lesson for other officials not to play with the law," he said.
Previously, the Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office detained the Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office with the initials AMH who was suspected of corruption in misappropriation and inflating funds for the COVID-19 pandemic prevention program in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the 2020 fiscal year.
"The suspect is Dr. AMH as Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office/budget user and RMN as a private party or partner," said Head of the North Sumatra Attorney General's Office, Idianto.

Idianto explained earlier that the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office team had found sufficient preliminary evidence and a number of related parties had been summoned for questioning, so the case was upgraded from investigation to investigation.
"The two suspects were detained in two different places, namely the Pancur Batu detention center and Labuhan Deli detention center," he said.
