Former Danjen Kopassus Will Geruduk KPU Office This Afternoon, Central Jakarta Police Standby Personnel
The Central Jakarta Metro Police carried out security at the Indonesian KPU office, Bawaslu to the DPR RI building regarding the demonstration which will take place today, Monday, March 18.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the security of the action involved joint personnel from Polda Metro Jaya, Central Jakarta Metro Police, TNI and other agencies.
"Security at the Indonesian KPU involves 770 personnel, the DPR/MPR RI involves 1,087 personnel and in Bawaslu involves 507 personnel," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed.
Meanwhile, for the closure or diversion of traffic flow around the DPR RI, Bawaslu and KPU RI are situational. Traffic flow engineering will be implemented to see the dynamics of the situation in the field.

"If the masses are quite large and the escalation increases, there will be a diversion of traffic flow at the Indonesian KPU, Bawaslu and DPR RI," he said.
It should be noted that the former Commander General (Danjen) of the Special Forces Command (Kopasus) Major General (Purnawirawan) Soenarko led a demonstration in front of the General Election (KPU) office in Menteng, Central Jakarta today, Monday, March 18.
