Prabowo-Gibran's Voice Wins In Jayapura With 71,268 Votes
JAKARTA - The pairs of presidential and candidate candidates for the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Gibran were declared superior in votes in Jayapura Regency, Papua. The General Election Commission (KPU) based on the final plenary meeting of Prabowo-Gibran's final recapitulation received 71,268 votes.
The number of votes obtained by the presidential-vice presidential pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka outperformed presidential and vice presidential pairs number one Anis Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar 14,457 votes, number three Ganjar Pranowo and Professor Mahfud MD 36,437 votes.
KPU commissioner Jayapura Lodik Y Mayfrendi Ap in a release in Sentani, citing ANTARA news, Sunday, March 17, said that according to the results of the plenary meeting of the recapitulation of votes which took place on Saturday, March 16, Prabowo-Gibran was absolute superior.

Meanwhile, Papuan traditional community leader Yanto Eluay stated that from the start he was sure that presidential candidate Prabowo-Gibran would excel in Jayapura Regency.
"Since the first time the vice presidential candidate Gibran came and met Papuan community leaders at the Kampung Serah pavilion, it has been seen that they will win the hearts of the people of Jayapura," he said.
