Maluku Police Increase Traffic Regulations In Dense Hours Ahead Of Iftar

TERNATE - Increased traffic in the month of Ramadan occurs in many areas, including Ternate. For this reason, the Directorate of Traffic and the Directorate of Samapta of the North Maluku Police (Malut) added members to control several points, especially in the near future of breaking the fast.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police, AKBP Bambang Suharyono in Ternate, Saturday, stated that the increase in traffic regulation was carried out during Ramadan to anticipate and reduce congestion that often occurs before breaking the fast.

In fact, ANTARA reporters in the field reported, it was seen that many people flocked to takjil sales sites every time before breaking the fast.

Efforts to regulate traffic aim to create comfort for the community and prevent congestion due to the increase in these activities.

He hopes that the anticipatory efforts made can facilitate traffic flow and provide a sense of security and comfort for the community in carrying out fasting.

Previously, personnel from the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the North Maluku Regional Police conducted socialization and gave warnings to two-wheeled and four-wheeled riders on the first and second days of Safety Operation Kie Raha 2024.
