KTB Raises Market Share Target For 2024, This Is A Strategy To Do
JAKARTA - PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), as the official distributor of commercial vehicles from Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) in Indonesia, is targeting to continue to increase the market share in 2024.
Sales and Marketing Director of PT. KTB Aji Jaya revealed that the Mitsubishi Fuso market share target for 2024 reached 41 percent, aka an increase from 2023 which only touched 39.2 percent or 33,283 units.
"This means that the target is to grow 1.8 percent with a total unit of 34,850 units," he said, when met in Jakarta.
In order to achieve this target, Aji revealed that KTB will carry out a strategy. Including one of them is 'CusTOMer first'.
"We are committed to always innovating not only products but also the latest services and technology suitable for the consumer business. Fuso will listen to consumer input and provide the right business solutions according to consumer expectations and needs," added Aji Jaya.
Several strategies to deal with 2024 are to provide products and services that are tailored to the character, area, and type of consumer business, improve dealer services by adding dealers with the status of Fuso Pro-Shop, and digitize by developing the Runner feature, namely Bengkel Runner.

As additional information, KTB is still the market leader or maintains the number one market share for the trade vehicle segment for 53 years in Indonesia.
Although in 2023 the market conditions for commercial vehicles in Indonesia experienced quite a volatile dynamic and experienced a decline in demand of up to 9 percent, with a market volume of 84,957 units.
This year the KTB will also launch its first electric truck, namely the eCanter at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 in July.
