Xpander Driver Admits He Knows Porsche Showroom Boss PIK 2, Police: Not Sure He Knows It, The Point Is Alcoholic
TANGERANG The police are still investigating the motive of the Mitsubishi Xpander driver with the initials JS who crashed into a Porsche showroom on Indak Kapuk 2 Beach, Tangerang Regency. A total of five witnesses will be examined in connection with the case.
Teluknaga Police Chief, AKP Wahyu Hidayat said the five witnesses were managers to Ivan'S PIK 2 marketing showroom in Tangerang.
"We don't know the motive yet because we are still examining the person concerned. There are already five witnesses. The showroom manager was on duty at the time, marketing who was explaining the product at the time of the incident, as well as security officers guarding the showroom," Wahyu said when confirmed, Friday, March 15.
Wahyu said that the Xpander driver admitted that he knew the owner of the showrom. He also admitted that he wanted to go to the showroom at the time of the incident, but when he visited the place he was drunk.
"He said he knew it but we are still investigating it. You know it in a sense. 'Oh I know him. But he doesn't necessarily know me'. But the point is drunk drinking alcohol. He admits he's drunk, he wants to go to the showroom there," he said.
After undergoing the examination JS has been named a suspect. Wahyu said JS was charged with Article 200 of the Criminal Code and or 406 of the Criminal Code regarding the destruction of other people's belongings. Now the suspect has been detained.
"Article 200 of the Criminal Code and or 406 of the Criminal Code. (The suspect) has been detained," he said.
Regarding the loss, Wahyu continued, it is estimated that it will reach IDR 5.7 billion. Seeing a number of damages, namely Porsche buildings and cars that were parked in Ivan's showroom.
