Honda Registers New Motorcycle Design In Indonesia, CB500 Hornet?
JAKARTA - The Honda motorcycle manufacturer secretly registered their new motorcycle model with the official website of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
In monitoring by VOI on Thursday, March 14, a sketch of a naked-style motorbike was seen from various angles, which was predicted to be a CB500 Hornet.
The new motorbike is registered with the applicant number A00202400239, with the name, address, and industry design applicant listed as Honda Motor CO., LTD, with the date of requesting an application on January 22, 2024.
For specifications, this motor is present in the European market, with a 2-cylinder engine with an 8-katup, DOHC, and a liquid cooler with a capacity of 471 cc. The power reaches 47 dk at 8,600 rpm and a 43 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm with a transmission of six accelerations.
In terms of convenience, this motor is equipped with a front suspension of Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD and a Pro-Link rear suspension. The front braking is supported by a dual disk with a four-piston radial caliber of the Nissin brand, while behind it is a single disk with a diameter of 240 mm with a single piston caliber.

Previously, Senior Manager of Corporate Communication of PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), Rina Listiani, did not provide further details about the presence of new motorbikes in Indonesia.
"Not yet, yes. Later we will convey it, we have not conveyed the number. Only for electric motors later we will announce it," he said.
