Erik Ten Hag Reveals Return Of Injured Players To FA Cup Match Against Liverpool

JAKARTA - Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are likely to return from their injuries in the FA Cup match against Liverpool on Sunday, March 17.

The Red Devils' season has been damaged by various injuries and illnesses, in which Ten Hag often complains that it has disrupted his team's progress after a brilliant 2022/23 season.

However, in an important sixth-half FA Cup match at home against Liverpool rivals, the Dutch manager has confirmed that his three stars are competing again.

"Hopefully, some players are back," Ten Hag told TalkSPORT. "Aaron Wan-Bissaka trained on the pitch yesterday. We also expect Harry Maguire back in the squad next week. Rasmus Hojlund also has good hopes of returning."

Sunday's meeting with Liverpool is United's last chance to win the title this season, while they will also try to disrupt Jurgen Klopp's farewell tour - the Reds can still win four titles before he backs off at the end of the season.
