Gadang Dorce Gamalama's House Only Sells Rp430 Million To Pay Liability
JAKARTA - One of Dorce Gamalama's legacy, a gadang house in Jatibening, Bekasi, West Java, was sold for IDR 430 million. The Gadang house belonging to the late Dorce Gamalama was built to combine Minang and Islam nuances.
The structure of this house uses wood material on the interior and exterior. All the wood materials were also imported from West Sumatra and formed with distinctive carvings. A number of carvings with Islamic nuances in the form of calligraphy of the Al Quran verse are also displayed on several sides of the house.
The art value and high philosophy made the house, which was built with the typical West Sumatra concept, previously sold for IDR 2 billion. Unfortunately, the luxury and magnificent Gadang house has been sold by the adopted children of the deceased.
The sister of the late Dorce Gamalama, Erlita, said that Gadang's house was sold by Dorce's adopted son. The deceased's desire to make his house a museum was canceled because it had been sold. The house was sold to pay off the debts of the deceased.
"It was sold by his adopted son, divided into two", said Erlita through a Celebrity Status broadcast, quoted from the SCTV YouTube channel, Monday, March 11.
Erlita revealed that the luxury and magnificent house sold for Rp430 million rupiah. In fact, initially Gadang's house was offered to Raffi Ahmad-Irfan Hakim in the amount of Rp2 billion.
"Listen to him (sold) Rp430 million," said Erlita.
Initially promised 50 percent, Erlita did not get a penny. Not wanting to bother, Erlita was sincere that the house had been sold at a low price.
"It's up to you to sell, Mother doesn't want to make a fuss. Tired of making a fuss," Erlita explained.

Erlita emphasized that the one who bought the Gadang concept luxury house was not from celebrities. This is because previously it was rumored that the buyers of this magnificent house were Raffi Ahmad and Irfan Hakim.
"Not (Raffi Ahmad and Irfan Hakim), people close to homes and Padang people also buy them. He likes the building and he says it will not be changed," said Erlita.
Not only Erlita, the head of the RT in the Dorce house area, Asroni, admitted that he heard the news. Unfortunately, neither the family nor the buyer have confirmed it.
"Between those who buy and sell it, there has never been confirmation to me as RT." he said.
It is known, Dorce Gamalama passed away on February 16, 2022. The cause of Dorce's death was battling complications of diabetes. Until now, the inheritance of the deceased is still being contested by his older siblings and adopted children.
