Again, One Suspect In The Persecution Case At The Makmur Bahagia Cafe, South Jakarta, Surrendered
JAKARTA The suspect in the beating case at the Makmur Bahagia Cafe, Kemang, South Jakarta, has surrendered again to the Mampang Police. The Pia with the initials RJ (26) came to the Mampang Police on Thursday, March 7, alone.
"The suspect RJ (22) surrendered himself to the Mampang Prapatan Police, on Thursday," said Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, Commissioner David Kanito in a short message, Friday, March 8.
David said that RJ was a visitor to the Makmur Bahagia cafe, which at that time saw the victim being beaten. Then RJ participated in molesting Ahmad until he was finally stabbed to death.
The cafe visitor, who at that time wanted to leave the cafe but saw the incident. Then beat the victim too," he said.
David said that with the arrest of RJ, the total number of perpetrators who were arrested was 4 people. So that there is only 1 more visitor who is still being chased.

The suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings that resulted in people dying. They face up to 12 years in prison.
Previously, the security of the Makmur Bahagia cafe also surrendered. SS was the person who stabbed Ahmad Mardianto until he finally died.
SS came to the Mampang Police accompanied by his family. The case is still rolling at the Mampang Police, South Jakarta.
