AGO Checks South Hills Apartment Manager, Looks For Cooperation Between Pacific Place Boss Tan Kian And Benny Tjokro

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has examined two witnesses in the alleged corruption case of PT. Asabri. One of the witnesses was the South Hills Apartment Building Manager.

"The witness being questioned has the initials MUS as the South Hills Apartment Building Manager," said the Head of the Attorney General's Office of Legal Information, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak in his statement, Monday, March 1.

Inspection of MUS to study the work agreement between Tan Kian and Benny Tjokrosaputro. Meanwhile, one other witness is AK who is the Director of PT. Erdikha Elit Sekuritas.

"The examination of witnesses was carried out in order to find legal facts and gather evidence about the criminal act of corruption that occurred at PT. Asabri," said Leonard.

Previously it was reported that the AGO found legal action by Tan Kian in the alleged corruption case of PT. Asabri. Because, Tan Kian collaborated with Benny Tjokrosaputro who was one of the suspects in the case.

"There is legal action. But the act isn't against the law yet," said Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Ali Mukartono.

For that reason, investigators have not been able to determine Tan Kian as a suspect. So, until now investigators are still looking for strong evidence on this matter.

This sufficient evidence will later become the capital of investigators to reveal more in this case. In fact, it is not impossible that a suspect will be determined.

"There is a cooperation between Benny Tjokro and Tan Kian. Whether it is an act against the law or not, we will investigate it first," he said.

"(The suspect) maybe yes or maybe not," he continued.
