State Losses In Corruption Cases In Road Construction In Central Mamberamo Rp4.5 Billion, 4 Suspects

JAYAPURA - Director of Special Crimes (Dirkrimsus) of the Papua Police, Kombes Ade Sapari, admitted that investigators are currently handling two cases of alleged corruption in road construction in Central Mamberamo Regency, Papua Mountains. The amount of state losses in this case is estimated at IDR 4.5 billion."Two corruption cases in Central Mamberamo Regency, namely an increase in the 3 Kobakma lane section (the capital city of Central Mamberamo Regency) along 9.9 kilometers and the construction of a 13 kilometer ring road for the regent's office," he explained in Jayapura, Antara, Thursday, March 7.The construction of the two cases used APBD 2021 funds. It was explained, for the case of increasing the road section for the 3 Kobakma route along the 9.9 kilometers, it was budgeted at IDR 2.6 billion."Meanwhile, the construction of a 13-kilometer ring road for the regent's office, which is budgeted at IDR 4.6 billion with a state loss of IDR 3.3 billion," said Kombes Ade.Investigators have named four people as suspects in each of them in the improvement of lane 3 of Kobakma with the suspect being the former Regent of Mamteng RHP, AP, MP and PP. For the case of building a ring road for the regent's office with suspects RHP, AP, PP and WW.
"Currently, the three suspects are being held at the Papuan Police Headquarters detention center in Jayapura, while the RHP is currently still serving a sentence at Makassar Prison," said Ade Sapari.
